EPA Motorcade
On Saturday 16 July, 2022 the Estate Police Associations took to the streets by motorcade to continue to demonstrate its stand for justice for Security Officers. The motorcade started at Tropical Plaza, Pointe-a-Pierre and ended at the Queen’s Park Savannah where the procession was addressed by the EPA’s President Mr. Deryck Richardson.
The Association stands against poor OSH practices, fines, bonds, victimization and a call equality of treatment in the Minimum Wage Order by reinstating inclusion of Annual Leave and Sick Leave. Also, the Association is demanding consultation on the revision of the Supplemental Police Act and the withdrawal of the Private Security Bill.
